Microsoft showed off its latest Office Graph Integration APIs which will let developers to build apps that integrate with Microsoft Office 2016.
At the keynote address, Microsoft showed off some demos involving ‘add-ins’ which let you add stuff from external apps within your Office environment. An Uber integration was demoed within the MS Outlook 2016, which lets users create a reminder for their Uber ride directly from Calendar appointments. This reminder will then show up on your Android or iOS device when the time arrives.

In another demo, Microsoft showed how you can add in high quality pictures into a Powerpoint presentation using a image service add-in.
In yet another demo, an integration from SAP that worked in Excel on both the desktop and iPad was also shown off.
According to Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella, the idea behind the integration is to stop people from jumping between apps and getting more work done from a single place. The integrations also work seamlessly across devices on multiple platforms.
